On Main Street in Bay Shore, turn south onto Maple Ave. Go all the way down to the END. You will end up entering a large parking lot. Lake House is on your left as you enter the parking lot.
Yes. It's a fine dining experience and you will easily spend a minimum of $100 for 2 people.
They dont have anything listed on the menu, but most fine dining place will have a few items they can make for kids, usually pasta bowl, chicken fingers or pizza. I would call them to find out exactly what they offer.

Yes they do
In hopes of finding a delicious lobster roll, my husband and I dined at The Lakehouse last week. Our dining experience, from start to finish, was perfect; the hostesses were pleasant (offering the option to dine indoors or outdoors) and quickly seated us, the waitstaff was very attentive, and the food was delicious. The lobster roll was indeed an outstanding choice, although there were many other tempting entrees on the menu.We will be back, and I strongly recommend The Lakehouse to anyone looking for an enjoyable dining experience.
A gorgeous establishment, upscale, but not uptight. Relaxing waterfront dining and bar. The dining room is spaced nicely and the views were lovely from the outdoor seating area. Not only was the atmosphere enjoyable, the food was spectacular. I had seen it had many good reviews, now I know why. Everything was superb. The table had duck, pork, steak, chicken, gnocchi and risotto. I dabbled in a bit of a few dishes and they were each delicious. Dessert was no exception! Will definitely be back.
Excellent. Went for a family dinner the weekend before Christmas. Had drinks at the bar but you could only sit at the few bar stools because they had several small tables saved for those who wanted to eat in the bar area...there were 12 of us and not enough room. Felt like we were standing over the few that were eating in the bar area. Bar drinks delicious and bartender was great. Sat down at our reservation time and atmosphere was very festive. Server was excellent and very professional. Staff friendly and took our group table photo. Food was delicious and desserts were more than enough for 1 person. Self parked
Great place, service was great, food was out of this world, met friends on Sunday from the Hamptons and this was a half way point. Highly recommend going there. Covid-19 friendly you will feel safe and healthy while dining either inside or outside. We will be back
My friends seemed to enjoy their food, especially the clams, however, I would Not recommend the french toast. I was highly disappointed in the way it tasted and wish I could have sent it back. We went on a Sun morn for brunch and ate outdoors. Parking is scarce and difficult so try to arrive earlier, just to allow time to park! I thought there would be a more scenic view, but to me, it was limited. The name suggested to me that we'd have an overview of the lake but you can really just have a peek at it from the tent area outside. I was expecting more of a relaxed atmosphere but from where we sat, it was limited. I was a bit disappointed, overall, but on the flip side, the waiters were following the protocols and they didn't rush us at all.
The Lakehouse is always an awesome dining experience. Between 8 of us, we ordered over 20 items on the menu tonight and every single bite was amazing (specific shout outs to the farm salad, grilled oysters, pork chops, duck, and carpaccio). The service was excellent! And mentioning this only because it's the world we live in these days, but we felt very comfortable eating there (indoors). The tables were well spaced out, everyone wore masks and distanced themselves appropriately. Definitely worth visiting and spending a few extra dollars at.
Fine dining on the waterfront in Bayshore, Long Island. Went during the holidays, so the place was decorated beautifully. The atmosphere was festive and joyous. Our party of 12 was no problem for this staff of professionals. The specialty drinks were excellent. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. I would recommend the Lakehouse highly to anyone looking for an elegant dining experience.
